Grief is heavy, confusing, and isolating. Most people are never taught how to carry it. They're just told to "move on" or "stay strong," even when they're barely holding it together.
This program is different.
For seven weeks, we meet privately, just you and me, and move through a structured, research-backed process that helps you complete what feels emotionally unresolved.
No pressure.
No forcing your healing to match a schedule.

This program is for you if:

Note: This program is most effective once someone is out of the acute crisis phase (usually 4-6 weeks after a loss). If you're in immediate crisis, I'll help you connect with appropriate support first.

The Grief Recovery Method is an educational program focused on emotional completion, not clinical treatment. It guides you through a structured process that works alongside therapy but does not replace it.

Yes. All sessions are held online on Zoom in the Vancouver (PST/PDT) time zone.
We focus on one loss at a time so the work stays clear and manageable. If you want to continue with another loss afterward, we can discuss next steps.
It is never too late. Many people come to this program after carrying grief for decades and still experience meaningful emotional change.
No. The Grief Recovery Method is non-religious and inclusive, and it can be used by people of any faith or no faith at all.
Many clients come to this program after other approaches have not created the change they hoped for. The structure and focus of this work often helps in a different and more direct way.
You can begin once you are past the initial crisis stage, which is usually four to six weeks after a loss. If you are still in acute grief, I can help guide you toward the right support first.
Yes. This process supports the emotional pain connected to early experiences, even if the events happened many years ago.
No. This work is most effective when done individually so you can focus fully on your own healing.

This program works for losses involving people who are still living, including estrangement, divorce, or complicated relationships.
More than 40 types of loss can create grief. This program supports all of them.
I encourage you to explore the many resources, workshops, and tools available on the website. These offerings complement the Grief Recovery Method, but they are separate from the seven-week program.
Some employers in offer wellness allowances or flexible benefits that may cover this program. It depends on your plan, please check with your provider.
